Marie Mindes Bro has been a member of the California Bar Association since 2001 and concentrates her practice on representing employees in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blower, and wrongful termination claims. Her specialization and focus in employee representation made her an ideal fit within the team at Carlin & Buchsbaum, LLP. Marie is also a business law instructor at the college level. Her experience as an educator greatly strengthens her ability to easily walk clients through the litigation process.
Prior to joining Carlin & Buchsbaum, LLP, Marie maintained an employment litigation practice as an associate at a Century City law firm beginning in 2002. Prior to working in employment litigation, Marie studied entertainment law and worked for several major motion picture studios in Los Angeles.
Marie received a B.A. in film studies from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1995 and graduated with a J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2001. Marie resides in the Los Angeles area and is fluent in French, having lived and studied in France prior to entering law school.
