Roger E. Haag

Experience

Roger Haag principally practices labor and employment law on behalf of employees.  Prior to joining Carlin & Buchsbaum, LLP, Mr. Haag was a senior associate at the Law Offices of Joseph M. Lovretovich where his practice spanned the full spectrum of employment and labor law in state and federal courts. His experience includes bench and jury trials and he has argued before the California Courts of Appeal.

A 2009 graduate of the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College, Mr. Haag was recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in employment litigation for 2009 and 2010, an honor that is given to no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the state. He began his legal career at Bowman & Brooke LLP where he defended automobile and home appliance manufacturers in matters of contract and products liability.  His work Government/Industry Partnering, Fitting a Square Peg into a Round Hole was published by the George Washington School of Law.

Background

Roger served in the United States Navy.  He was accepted into the prestigious Acquisition Intern Program established by the Under Secretary of Defense, and interned with the Chief of Naval Operations Executive Panel at the Center for Naval Analysis in Washington D.C.

He received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law. Prior to law school, Roger received his B.A. from National University, where he graduated cum laude.
